Tottenham and Belgians, defender Jan vertoghen. Have been side lined from the reminder of the Euro 2016 competition, due to an ankle injury, which occurred during training at the teams base in Bordeaux.

Jan vertoghen who has had a wonderful year for club and international side Belgium will miss the reminder of the Euro 2016 competition being held at France.


Belgium's coach Marc Wilmots explained to the press earlier today “i believe her controlled the ball with his left foot and turned his ankle" Wilmots also noted that Jan Vertoghen injury who was very fit physically and mentally was a vital blow to the team and a lose to the Belgium sqaud, but he did not hesitate to say that the Belgium team will still be at its best for the rest of the competition

Jan Vertoghen is reportedly going to be out for six to eight weeks and Marc Wilmots hopes he'll be fine at that duration in order to get ready for the 2016/2017 premier league season
