Leicester City have made a third signing since the open of the transfer window in a bid to continued to strengthen their squad for the new season with the signing of  24 years old midfielder Nampalys Mendy from Nice. The 24-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Leicester City subject to Premier League and FA approval. Nampalys Mendy is the third player to have  signed for Leicester this summer after arrivals of Ron-Robert Zieler and Luis Hernandez.

Nampalys Mendy has won caps at youth, U20 and U21 levels for his country played under Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri at Monaco. "I am very happy to come to Leicester City. The team have just enjoyed a great season and it's excellent to be here," Nampalys Mendy said. Leicester City are hoping to get a suitable squad who will be able to withstand pressure of European competitions, Leicester City will play at the UEFA champions league level this season and are hoping to bring the best to the stage.
